As a clinical pharmacist, you will work closely with patients and be part of the care team in the ward, outpatient clinic, and emergency department. Your main tasks will include conducting medication reviews and providing individualized advice on medication treatments. Additionally, you will be an important support and provide pharmaceutical expertise to our healthcare colleagues within the clinic. This means you will have a varied role with great room for personal responsibility, always supported by helpful colleagues.

As an employee at Danderyd Hospital, you will receive compensation for healthcare, a wellness allowance of 5000 SEK per year, and access to the well-equipped staff gym Lyftet for only 540 SEK per year. You will be offered staff parking at a favorable price and staff housing if needed. We have advantageous compensation for those on parental leave. In clinical pharmacy, we work with a weekly rotating schedule, which means you will gain experience, development, and stimulation from several of our units. You will have a varied position where you can combine work with simple and more in-depth medication reviews for both outpatient and inpatient patients. You will participate in rounds and be part of the care team. You are part of a smaller team, for a growing profession, and thus have good opportunities to contribute to the development of the operations.

Job Description

Rotating duties weekly with the following tasks:

  • Medication reviews in the emergency department and ward
  • Medication reviews in the outpatient clinic in connection with booked patient visits
  • Education for patients
  • Education for healthcare professionals
  • Pharmaceutical advice to patients and healthcare staff
  • Supervision of students

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed pharmacist or licensed pharmacy technician with a master's degree in clinical pharmacy, or equivalent.

Previous experience working with clinical pharmacy in an acute hospital is an advantage.

You should be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Previous experience with TakeCare is an advantage.

Since our operations have a strong focus on the development of clinical pharmacy, we are looking for someone who is driven and has a strong interest in development work.

About the Operation

The Surgical and Urology area conducts both emergency and elective surgery and urology, as well as surgical operations in outpatient and inpatient care around the clock. We treat and care for patients primarily from Stockholm County, but also from outside the county and foreign patients with surgical or urological diseases. Patients are taken care of in several different specialist clinics, two operating departments, and four wards with different profile areas: colorectal surgery, surgery of the upper gastrointestinal tract, bariatric surgery, and liver tumors, as well as urology. About 460 employees work here.
